Team Building Activity: Punctured Gallon

Punctured barrel is a popular beach team building activity. This activity strengthens the team’s camaraderie and teamwork.




It is up for your team on how you can accomplish the learning objectives using the punctured barrel team building activity. Facilitators can also help with the debrief.

Objective

Fill the punctured barrel with water until the ball inside comes out.

Materials needed:

  • Punctured Barrel or gallon (filled with holes)
  • Ping Pong Balls
  • Lots of water. Ideally, the venue for doing this activity is the beach as it will be wasteful to do it elsewhere.
  • Tabo or Mug



Number of Participants:

Good for 5 – 8 participants for each team

Rules:

  1. Complete the objective by only using your body parts and materials provided or agreed upon.
  2. No other materials are allowed. Penalty for using disallowed materials is a restart of the activity.
  3. The team must accomplish the objective within the time limit.
