Site Concepts International Discover Their Team With CTFN
What is a TEAM? A team is not group of individuals who travail at the same location or have the same emblem on their business card. A real team is made up of people who may be unequal in skill, talent, or background, but who are equal in their devotion to working together to achieve their aim and good of the organization, each other and their customers.
If we are going to be successful, we can no longer look at our organizations as departments, divisions, or branch offices. We must look at the bigger picture and resolve to work together in ways we may never have done before. We may even need to cooperate with the competition. Think of all the mergers and acquisitions in the past few years. Your number one competitor today could be your partner tomorrow.
Society loves to celebrate and glorify the individual – Jobs, Musk, Kevin Durant. We all do it. But individuals don’t accomplish monumental achievements on their own. Success is driven by teams. From sending a sub to the deepest, darkest parts of the ocean to decoding the human genome or building driver-less cars, teams accomplish far more than any single person ever could.
Take sports, for example. Great teams often have individual superstars, but winning teams focus on great teamwork. Drills, plays, practice, trust, communication. Without those, you lose – even with the best player in the world.
As such, Site Concepts International had their team building program with the Cebu Teambuilding Facilitators Network last June 10-11, 2017 at Villa Dulce Resort in Naga City, Cebu, Philippines. A fun team building program filled with both emotional and physical aspects. Little did we know that these architects and engineers really needed some time-off from their work life having catered and are catering to multinational clients across 9 sites all around the world. A program filled with both airing-out of concerns to help improve the work life and partaking in a simple carousel activity to say “Thank you” to any individual in the office, Site Concepts International really had a great time together with the Cebu Team Building Facilitators Network to achieve a stress-free weekend.
