Leslie Manoriña and Thadz Engaling recently went to the Camotes group of islands to facilitate a team building program for NPAX Cebu Corporation, a software development company that is a subsidiary of Ng Khai Corporation.

Team Building Program Venue: Santiago Bay Garden Resort
Npax Cebu Corporation was to have their team building program at Malapascua Island in Daanbantayan, the northernmost town of Cebu, Philippines. Eventually, they settled for
Santiago Bay Garden Resort in San Francisco town at the Camotes group of islands. Santiago Bay Garden is located at barangay Santiago right beside the most visited place in the Camotes group of islands,
the picturesque White Beach on Santiago Bay. Santiago Bay Garden is an excellent venue to conduct team building programs at. It has a lot of open spaces that can be used for team building activities. With its proximity to White Beach, team building activities can also be done in the beach.

Twenty four (24) employees of NPAX Cebu Corporation took part in the team building activities which was done over two (2) days, from 28-29 February 2016.

Here are some of the activities we did for N-Pax:
Inside Out
One very significant activity that N-Pax Cebu Corporation employees went through was Inside Out. It highlighted the importance of two-way communication in relation to being able to clarify matters in completing tasks assigned tasks and dealing with customers.

Minefield
In an attempt to improve trust and communication within the team, employees of N-Pax Cebu Corporation went through the frustration of miscommunication, elated in the completion of a team task, celebrated the success of two-way communication despite set limitations, and generally had fun while doing the minefield activity.

Sand Art
The culminating activity of the two-day team building program saw the participants show their creative side as they were asked to make a representation of their team using sand art as a medium. Everyone did their part in completing the task within the time frame given. It was truly a team at work.

The result was an amazing sand sculpture which they were all proud to make.
