Sometime in the middle of 2013, officers of the
Chemical Engineering Society (ChES) of the University of San Carlos had a leadership and team building program. They tasked the
Cebu Teambuilding Facilitators Network to facilitate the program for its newly-elected officers.
CTFN was then known as the Cebu Teambuilding Services. The event was facilitated by CTFN founder
Thadz Engaling. Assisting as an intern at the time was
Clint Eduard Fuentes. Clint is now one of the more tenured affiliates of CTFN.

The event was held at the relatively unknown Meritz Resort in Pagsabungan, Mandaue City, Cebu. The program started with the usual getting to know activities. It then progressed to self-discovery and development. The highlight were play-based outdoor team building activities. There were also lecture supplements on self-awareness and personal development. Bruce Wayne Tuckman's stages in group development and leadership theories were also discussed.

Wheel of Life was employed as an activity for self-awareness and development. Facilitators utilized the Monks' Meal activity to teach sensitivity. To advance team dynamics awareness and highlight the importance of teamwork, activities such as
Helium Ring and All-in were used. It was a day of fun and learning.
