Day 1
Oslob
The first part of the trip brought the kids and their chaperons to the southeastern Cebu town of Oslob to experience the world-famous whale shark interaction in Barangay Tanawan. A brief visit to Tumalog Falls was also scheduled but was cancelled at the last minute due to concerns about riding motorcycles and recent reports of vandalism and improper waste disposal at the site. The party had lunch and did some swimming at the Norwegian-owned
Lagunde Beach Resort and Restaurant after the whale shark interaction.
